Welcome to the Together We’re Better Staff Psychological Wellbeing Hub.

The Hub is open to all members of the NHS and Social Care workforce employed by organisations in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

We recognise that the intensity of work during the pandemic has taken its toll on the health and wellbeing of the local workforce. Supporting the psychological wellbeing of our people is something that has never been more important.

If you would like to check in and complete a few short questionnaires to see how you are doing, please click here.

What does the Hub do?

The Together We’re Better Staff Psychological Wellbeing Hub is a safe and confidential space to check in, see how you are feeling and discuss what additional support you may need at this time.

Our team of qualified mental health professionals is here to offer help, support and give advice to staff who feel they would benefit from some additional support for their psychological wellbeing.

We can give space for you to talk about your individual experiences, give advice and signpost to potential sources of support and help you to access evidence-based therapies if required.

With your consent, we can also liaise with services on your behalf e.g., Occupational Health and Staff Counselling Services.

If you would like to check in and complete a few short questionnaires to see how you are doing, please click here.

Completing the screening questionnaires allows our team to provide better advice and support for your psychological wellbeing.

The questionnaires can also be completed over the phone with a member of the Hub team if you prefer.

How long are the questionnaires?

It takes an average of 10 minutes to complete the questionnaires, but you may wish to allow yourself more time if you find it difficult to think about your emotions at the moment. If you’d like help to complete the questionnaires, please get in touch with us via the details shown in the tab below.

Once you've completed the questionnaires you'll get chance to speak to one of our team in more detail about the help and support available to you.

What happens after I’ve completed the questionnaires?

Once you’ve completed the questionnaires you’ll receive an email to the address you've provided.

This email will contain resources and useful links and, depending on your responses, your email may say a member of our team will call you.

We know that questionnaires are not the full story though, so even if we don't say we'll call, you're welcome to call us to speak with a member of the team.

How will the information I provide be used?

On completion of your screening questionnaires, we may offer to refer you to another service for more specific help. We will always discuss this with you and ask your permission before doing so.

We also use anonymised data as a means of constantly evaluating our service, in order to improve and to plan for any future needs.

Confidentiality

The information you provide to us will remain confidential however, if you indicate there may be a safeguarding risk to yourself, or anyone else (particularly a child or vulnerable adult), then we may need to discuss this with you further.

Please note the screening questionnaires do not ask for your employer's details.
