You don’t need previous experience, just have the right values and behaviours, entry level roles available across the health and care sector in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, from health care support workers to porters, administrators to carers. There are so many opportunities, not just clinical roles.

In short, the events are the first truly system wide recruitment events of this type and our aim is to attract ‘new to care’ into all types of entry level health and social care roles across all system partners, in a bid to reduce workforce gaps and to increase the diversity of our workforce.
Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible; we have linked in with Job Centres across the county and city, advertised via Inclusion and Diversity networks and have also arranged for British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters to be available to support at all events.
The People Function team will also be on hand to support members of the general public with completing application forms, signposting to appropriate organisations and providing general careers advice. All the NHS Trusts within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent will be represented, as well as both Local Authorities and private care providers.
