Work Experience in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent

    What is Work Experience?

Work experience is a great opportunity at any age to gain invaluable and practical experience in the profession you’re interested in. Work experience usually consists of a short placement over 1-2 weeks or specialist programmes can be offered for a more in-depth insight depending on the organisation.

Research indicates that you are more likely to succeed in finding a job if you already have experience in your chosen area. By completing a placement it shows genuine passion and interest, commitment to finding out more and a want to build or discover new skills.

What you do on your placement will varying depending on your chosen department, but will likely including ‘shadowing’, assisting with day-to-day tasks and discovering what’s required of an employee in the industry.

Completing a work experience placement could be the first step in your professional story with us!
